Fall is the perfect time to get out and explore the Pacific Northwest. The weather is crisp without being too cold and the fall foliage is at its peak vibrancy. Now is the perfect time to plan a day trip to one of the following Outdoor Adventures near Puyallup, Washington. 

 

Rising over 14,000 feet just 59 miles outside of Seattle, Mount Rainier is the backdrop of the city. There is a multitude of different activities you can do throughout every season at Mount Rainier National Park including hiking, camping, water activities, and more. Bradley Lake Park is a 59-acre park with a 12-acre pond. This is a great local place to spot fall foliage. You can also enjoy a fall picnic under one of their picnic shelters, allow your little ones to burn off some of their energy on the playground, and take a stroll among one of the many trails they have throughout the park.

 

After a historic clean-up conducted by the City of Tacoma, the Thea Foss Waterway sparkles with new life today. After more than 100 years of built-up contamination, the waterway was finally cleaned up in 2006 and has been kept clean ever since. The waterway is now a beautiful place to enjoy a stroll. 

 

On a rainy fall day, seeing a concert or show at the Tacoma Dome is the perfect way to pass the time.
